Even though the short block was NOS I still had it taken apart, hot tanked,
honed and put back together by a knowledgeable engine shop. The NOS head
was updated with hardened valves and seats and assembled using a NOS
rocker assembly. The they put on the NOS Oil Pan and tested the engine and
once I got a hold of the engine I degreased and painted it as shown below.
