Restoring the convertible rack was a big job but not as big as when I did the
frame restoration.
In order to powder coat the middle side rail and chrome the attaching link with
adjusting plate,
the original press fitted pin was drilled out and another one made. I had a good
friend of mine
Danny Jabbaz machine up a pair of pins duplicating the original pins. He then
preceded to press
the parts back together as original. The results were as expected,
excellent, thanks Danny.
